Knicks 39 - Jazz 37
The Knicks garnered their first win since before Christmas, largely in part due to Nick Salamida, 11pts and Marvin Baez 16pts. Steven Cruz cruised past the defense for the Knicks for 10pts, while Eduardo Beato manned the paint for 8pts. However the Knicks withstood the Jazz’s best punch and came out victorious. Christian Dunston and Brendan Broderick each scored 5pts for the Knickerbockers. Kyle Gauthier shot well for the Jazz; along with Jefferon Akers, Kyle Higgins and Danny Gauhthier whoall had 2pts.
Lakers 44 - Celtics 37
Troy Gilbert was Automatic for the whole second half for the Lakers scoring 15pts. Nick Walsh was second in scoring for the Lakersd with 10pts, Alvin Rodriguez and Jeff Peras each scored 7pts. The Celtics spread it around with 8 different men scoring, led by Ariel Almonte and Chris Vaille with 7pts closely followed Greg Speliotis with 6pts. Christian Almonte scored 5pts for the Celts.
Spurs 38 - Magic 34
Randy Valero carried his team over the hot Magic with 21pts. Kelly Abreu scored 6pts with 3stls and a couple assists for the Spurs. Emilio Beato continued his good play with 15pts, with Jonathon Morel and Jeff Tracchia scoring 6pts each. Steven White scored 3pts and Fernando Bryant 4pts to help the Spurs in their win.

Rockers 28 - Sun 16
Crystal Garcia and Ashley O’Keefe each scored 10pts to vault their team over the sun. April Hannable and Vanermi Figeuroa also scored the same amounts of points, 8pts, for their team. Hannah Wilkins provided 8pts for the Rockers including 2 three pointers.
Lynx 37 -Liberty 21
Marissa Garey scored 12pts for the Lynx leading them over the Liberty. Maria Rodriguez led her team in scoring with 8pt, Shannon tucker also scored 2pts. Sabrina Swift and Courtney Maurice helped with the scoring having 5pts and 8pts respectively.
Sparks 29 - Shock 16
The Sparks featured an attack of mostly Alix Bryant, 14pts, to cruise past the Shock. Courtney Shearstone scored 8pts for the Shock with Kayla Howland scoring 4pts and Kayleigh Krajeski scored 2pts. Brenna Burke and Bethany Thomas also scored 2pts for the Sparks.

Georgetown 40 - Boston College 13
Gabriel Planco 10pts, and FJ Murphy 18pts, proved to be too potent of a combo for the Eagles. Adam Maggiacamo 9pts scored nearly all BC’s points, with Jake and Jeury each scoring once. Robert Simard played well scoring 8pts and Xavier Polanco scored 6pts.
Providence 37 - Duke 36
Billy Muse crowded the scoring column up with 25pts and 5stls to lead the Friars past Duke. Jared Louf-Woods scored 18pts in the paint for the Devils with Cael Schaejbe scoring 8pts to go along with 4pts each from Brian Lora and Jack Viselli. Matt Muse and Joey Arroyo each scored 3pts and Jeff White chipped in 6pts for the winners. Trace Schaejbe also scored 2pts for Duke.
Michigan 30 - UCLA 23
The Wolverines defeated the Bruins largely due to Kelly Abreu’s huge night. Abreu scored 15pts, to go with 8rebs 3assts and 2blks. Shakir White led the Bruins with 11pts, Alex Smith and Matt Wilson each had 4pts. Mike Gauthier 4pts and Stephen Harris 7pts helped fuel Michigan’s victory with Ryan Gauthier and Juan Encarnacion adding 2pts each.
Oregon 36 - Syracuse 23
Oregon maintained it’s fight for first place by beating Syracuse. The Ducks big 3 Matt Marquez, John Crimble 4stls, Stephen Moutsoulas all scored 12pts in the win. Jefferson Akers fought for the Orange with 10pts 8rbs 3assts and 3blks. Chris MAtton scored 5pts and Matt MacNichol 4pts for Syracuse.
North Carolina 34 - Indiana 24
Zach Barnes completed a fine night for the Tar Heels with a spinning over the head shot off the glass for 2pts. Roni Baez and Dongwei Wu each also had 2pts for NC in the win. Aidan Scrimgeour once again perfromed for Hoosiers with 10pts and 4rbs. Brandon Dzyiak, 6pts 5rbs and Nick Bottichelli 4pts played well for Indiana. Austin Shea and Isaiah Hodges each had 6pts for the winners, with Tyler Thomas 6pts, JT Kapnis and Mitchell Osgood scoring 4pts apiece.

Duke 16 - Boston College 14
The Eagles nearly knocked off the lone undefeated team in the college ranks. Kelly McLaughlin and Sydney Hannaford each had 4pts to lead the Eagles. Nicole Sadoway was top lady for the Devils with 6pts followed by Hannah Malarkey with 4pts. Shyla Stokes, Kendall Higgins and Hannah Van de Staht all had 2pts. Cassandra Haude and Olivia Comeau each had 2pts and Comeau a nifty assist.
Tennessee 10 - Kentucky 6
The Vols snapped a significant losing streak by defeating Kentucky. Alexandria Bozarjian scored 6pts to lead the way, while Chloe Dragon and Villory Rijker finished the scoring on the winning side. Alexa Gilbert, Jessica Tassinieri and Mirlene Sanchez spread out the scoring for the ‘Cats with each managing 2pts.
UMASS 16 - Villanova 8
The wildcats kept it close early before Umass was able to distant themselves. Ashley Espinal scored 10pts inside for Umass with Emma Woolshire scoring 4pts driving to the hoop. Christa Leger scored 4pts for Villanova with Olivia scoring 3pts and abrielle Stevens scoring 1pt.

Magic 48 - Knicks 39
The Magic put a spell on the Knicks with Emilio Beato scoring a game high 24pts to give the Magic first place in the standings. Christian Dunston led the Knicks with 10pts followed by Brendan broderick with 7pts and Nick Salamida with 5pts. Jonathon Morel and Jesse Williams each chipped in 4pts for the Magic and Ben Kapnis scored 9pts.
Celtics 31 - Spurs 25
The Spurs jumped all over the Celts gaining a 14-2 advantage behind Randy Valero’s 13pts. Austin Shea and Danny Moya each had 2pts for the Spurs. Ariel Almonte, 6pts, got the green back into the game while Greg Speliotis finished the job with 8 of his 10pts coming in the second half. Cody Farese and Chris Vaille both played very well for the Celts scoring 9pts and 4pts respectively. Kelly Abreu, 3pts, and Dionil Abreu, 5pts, also played effectivley for the Spurs.
Lakers 33 - Jazz 32
In a matchup of the two best big men in the league Jeff Peras, 14pts, came out on top over Eduardo Beato, 3pts. Troy Gilbert and Alvin Rodriguez provided the Lakers with some key outside help with 5pts each. Steven “Figgy” Cruz led all Jazz with 6pts, the remaining scorers for the Jazz were Jefferson Akers 4pts, Taylor Norris 3pts, Danny Gauthier 5pts and Kyle Gauthier 2pts. Nick Walsh played well at th epoint for the lakers with 4pts.

Georgetown 34 - Indiana 23
FJ Murphy had a monster game for the Hoyas with 16pts and 16rebs. Gabriel and Xavier Polanco combined for 12pts in a supporting role for Georgetown. Aidan Scrimgeour exploded for 17pts for the Hoosiers with Brandon Zdiayk scoring 6pts. Sean Byrne scored 2pts down the stretch for G’town. Guthrie Scrimgeour of Indiana also drilled a jumper for 2pts.
Providence 31 - Michigan 20
The Wolverines spread it around with 7 different players scoring but couldn’t overcome the Friars. Juan Encarnacion, Ryan Gauthier and Stephen Harris all had 4pts for Michigan. Billy Muse had a game high 13pts for Providence. Jeff White 5pts and Matt Muse 6pts also played well for Providence. Jack Ward scored 2pts aswell as Joey Arroyo.
Syracuse 32 - North Carolina 19
Jefferson Akers, 16pts, 8rbs, 3blks, 2assts and 2stls, did it all for the orangemen in their win over the Tar Heels. Mitchell Osgood was on fire most of the game scoring 11pts, and assisting on two other baskets. Tahmid Raji scored 4pts, Tyler Thomas and Tyler Woodbury also each sccred 2pts for Carolina. Matt MacNichol scored 4pts and had 2stls for the Orange, Nathan Montero and Andrew MacNichol each scored points as well.
Oregon 37 - Duke 32
Duke and Michigan easily put on the best show of the night with their nailbiting performance. John Crimble dominated the perimeter of the game from the start with 8stls and 15pts. Jared Louf-Woods was Duke’s main force inside with 14pts and 8rbs. combating Louf all game was the Ducks two headed monster Stephen Moutsoulas 8pts and Matt Marquez 12pts. Cael Schaejbe scored 7pts for the Devils followed by point guard Ryan Madden 6pts and Brian Lora and Cameron Fraser with 2pts.

Kentucky 14 - UMASS 12
In the waning moments of the game against Umass, Alexa Gilbert, 10pts, made two steals and secured the win with a lay-up for the Wildcats. Mackenzie Michaud and Merllyn Sanchez each scored 2pts for Kentucky. Ashley Espinal recorded most of Umass’s points with 10.
Boston College 24 - Vilanova 11
With a complete team effort the Eagles demolished the Villanova Wildcats. Hannah Van de Staht, Shyla Stokes and Kelly McLaughlin all scored 4pts for BC. Sydney Hannaford led the Eagles with 6pts and 3stls. Jackie Pannenton scored 8pts for the ‘Cats with Christa Leger contributing 3pts. Robyn Hendry, Kendall Higgins and Sarah Connelly all scored 2pts in their teams win.
Duke 26 - Tennessee 6
The Blue Devils kept their perfect record intact with a big win over Tennessee. Rachel Zipper ran the show with 5assts and scored 8pts for Duke. Hannah Malarkey scored 6pts, Cassandra Haude and Kaitlin Copelas scored 4pts apiece for Duke. Cynthia Garcia drilled two deep jumpers for 4pts, and Micaela Dionne added the other 2pts for the Vols.

Indiana 26 - Boston College 22
Indiana put together a top performance against the Eagles to gain the win. Anthony Harris excelled on offense with 18pts to pace the Hoosiers. Jonathon Swasey led the Eagles with 12pts and Jeury had 6pts. Brandon Dziadyk and Aidan Scrimgeour each had 4pts in the win. Peter O’Donnell scored 2pts for BC.
Georgetown 24 - UCLA 22
UCLA suffers their first loss in the waning moments of the gamme against the Hoyas. FJ Murphy exploded on the offensive glass for 12rbs to go along with his team leading 10pts. Matt Wilson led the previously undefeated Bruins with 10pts along with Charles Morels’ 6pts and Melvin Guzman’s 4pts. Gabriel Polanco and Robert Simard each scored 6pts playing off Murphy inside.
Oregon 31 - Michigan 26
John Crimble hopped off to a fast start with, 13pts to give the Ducks a huge edge at halftime. The Wolverines fought their way back into the contest with Stephen Harris, 8pts and Kelly Abreu, 16pts leading the way. Oregon however was able to fend of Michigan with Matt Marquez, 12pts scoring key buckets inside late.
Providence 38 - Boston College 26
The Eagles held in tough with the Friars thanks to John Swasey’s, 15pts and Adam Maggiacamo’s, 6pts. Billy Muse recorded 17pts, 5rbs and 5stls guiding his team to victory. Matt Muse also played very well for Providence scoring 10pts with 4rbs, 2stls and an assist. Jeff White got 7pts running the floor for the Friars. Connor Duncan scored 4pts for the Eagles.
North Carolina 34 - Duke 29
North Carolina pulled away late in large part to Austin Shea’s, 4pts clutch performance down the stretch. Early in the game JT Kapnis, 10pts and Isaiah Hodge 7pts, 5rbs and 2stls dominated the paint. Later in the game Jared Louf-Woods and Brian Lora asserted their authority down low with 17pts and 12 rbs combined. Ryan Madden scored 6pts to go along with 2pts each from Cameron Fraser and Trace Schaejbe. North Carolina shot the lights out from deep as well with Mitchell Osgood nailing 2 three’s and Tahmid Raji drilling another.
Indiana 38 - Syracuse 37
The previously winless Hoosiers picked up their second win of the week with a squeaker of the Orangemen. Anthony Harris and Brandon Dziadyk had their way with Syracuse scoring 14 and 11pts respectively. At the point for Indiana was Aidan Scrimgeour who and managed 7pts for himself while running the show along with an impressive block in the second half. Jefferson Akers, 17pts had plenty of help with Nathan Montero, Chris Matton and Joey Arroyo all scoring 6pts for the ‘Cuse. Guthrie Scrimgeour scored 2pts and Nick Bottichelli 4pts to help the Hoosiers towards their big win.

Villanova 28 - Tennessee 12
The Wildcats of Villanova displayed their power in the paint by defeating the Volunteers. Jackie Panneton led the ‘Cats with 14pts, followed by Christa Leger with 8pts. Cody Homan was the main source of offense for the Vols with 6pts. Chloe Dragon chipped in with 4pts and Micaela Dionne scored 2pts and performed fiercely on defense. Julie Shea and Abrielle Stevens also scored 2 for the ‘Cats.
Duke 24 - Kentucky 6
The Blue Devils shot very effectively in their win over Kentucky. Meghan Zipper topped the scoring column with 6pts, Rachel Zipper scored 5pts and ran the show on offense. Hannah Malarkey managed 4pts and 3stls for the Devils. Alexa Glbert provided most of the output for the ‘Cats with 4pts with Mackenzie Michaud adding the other 2pts. Cassandra Haude also scored for Duke.

Robin Hendry, and Hannah Van Destat stuffed the stat sheet combining for 8pts, 7stls, and 4 deflections but their team could not overcome Umass. Ashley Espinal led the winners with 14pts and 10rebs. Shyla Stokes and Sarah Connelly each added 2pts for BC.
