Michigan 40 - Duke 34

Kelly Abreu, 23pts, carried his Wolverines over the formidable Blue Devils. Jared Louf-Woods 14pts, and Cael Schaejbe, 8pts powered the Devils offense. Juan Encarnacion 6pts and Stephen Harris 5pts delivered a boost for Michigan with Nathaniel Oscar and Michael Gauthier each scoring 2pts. Trace Schaejbe, 6pts, Brian Lora, 4pts, and Cameron Fraser 2pts also scored for Duke.

Oregon 41 - Boston College 25

Every Duck that suited for their game against BC scored at least two points in their win. John Crimble led the way with 21pts and 5stls. Jonathon Swasey was the top guy for BC with 15pts while Jeury and Adam Maggiacamo each scored 4pts.

Providence 41 - Syracuse 38

Billy Muse put up a league high 33pts, 6rbs 2stls in the win over Syracuse. Chris Matton 12pts and Jefferson Akers 14pts, 8rbs 2blks, played well for the Orange but the friars were too strong. Jeff White, 6pts and Joey Arroyo, 5pts, also played well for the Friars. Nathan Montero scored 8pts and Joey Barbeau 4pts for Syracuse.

North Carolina 35 - Georgetown 12

The Tar Heels clinched the Number 1 seed with it’s win over Georgetown. Isaiah Hodges was a force with 18pts to go with Austin Shea at point Guard who scored 11pts. Robert Simard 7pts and FJ Murphy 5pts managed all of the Hoyas scoring. Mitchell Osgood and JT KApnis each supplied the Heels with 4pts whil Zack nailed a 3pointer for his pts.

UCLA 37 - Indiana 33

the Indiana Hoosiers fought their way back into the game against UCLA with Anthony Harris, 8pts and 5rbs and Brandon Dziadyk 10pts fighting it out against the Bruins frontline. Shakir White, 11pts led the Bruins in scoring while Melvin Guzman and Helio Neto each supplied 6pts. Matt Wilson and Charles Murrel also each scored 4pts.

Kentucky 12 - Duke 8

Thanks to their stifling defense The Wildcats Knocked Duke from the ranks of the unbeaten. Mirlene Sanchez and Nicole Lapointe anchored the Kentucky Attack each scoring 4pts. Duke, who was the last undefeated team in all Salem Youth basketball, got all of its scoring from Meghan Zipper and Olivia Comeau whom each scored 4pts. Alexa Gilbert and Nicole Talbot scored both their hoops in the deciding moments of the game.

Boston College 17 - UMASS 14

The Eagles extended their win streak to 3 games with a decisive victory over Umass. Shyla Stokes, 8pts, stood toe to toe with the leagues leading scorer, Ashley Espinal 12pts, to help her team towards the win. Sydney Hannaford, Hannah Van De Staht, Kelly McLaughlin and Sarah Connelly all scored 2pts for the Eagles. Emma Woolshire picked up the remaining 2pts for the Ladies of Umass.

Villanova 23 - Tennessee 11

The interior game of the ‘Cats proved too strong for the Vols. Jackie Pannenton and Christa Leger each scored 8pts fueling the win for ‘Nova. The Volunteers were aggressice offensively but the shots just weren’t falling like they wanted, but Micaela Dionne managed 5pts, with Chloe Dragon and Lexi Cook also scoring 2pts. Katie LeFrancis scored 4pts on nice outside shots for Villanova.

Spurs 40 - Knicks 31

Dionil Abreu, 9pts, and Danny Moya, 5pts, played very strong in the win for the Spurs. Brendan Broderick led the Knicks with 15pts, with Christian Dunston scoring 11pts. However Randy Valero topped both of them with 20pts to pace his Spurs. Nick Salamida scored 6pts in the Knicks loss, with Chad Coehlo nailing a three pointer.

Magic 42 - Lakers 33

Jesse Williams seemed to be everywhere during his game against the Lakers with 20pts, coming mostly from cleanup duty, and cutting to the basket. The Lakers’ Jeff Peras almost equaled Williams with 19pts and 3blks, while Nick Walsh defended the other teams ball handler all night and scored 10pts. Emilio Beato was Williams’ second fiddle with 11pts. Mike Daly and Chris Jiminez each scored 2pts for the Lakers. The Magic were able to make key free throws down the stretch with Billy Muse going 3-3 in the last minute.

Celtics 46 - Jazz 42

Steven “Figgy” Cruz, was the leading scorer of the game dicing through the Celts’ defense and ending with 18pts. Greg Speliotis, however was closely behind with 16pts for the Green with Chris Vaille scoring 11pts and Ariel Amonte netting 10pts. The Jazz’s big man Eduardo Beato also had a nice game with 10pts and Danny Gauthier scored 5pts. The Celtics were helped geatly by Cody Farese’s rip and score under the hoop to put the Green ahead in the last 45 seconds.

Spurs 44 - Jazz 35

Randy Valero of the Spurs brought the Jazz’s losing streak to 4 with 19pts; James played very well for the Spurs with 9pts with no missed shots. Steven “Figie” Cruz was leading scorer for The Jazz with 13pts, with Elijah and Kyle Gauthier each scoring 5pts. Kelly Abreu and Danny Moya chipped in for the Spurs with 5pts each and Fernando scored 4pts. Danny Gauthier managed 4pts while Kyle Higgins scored 2pts for the Jazz.

Celtics 34 - Magic 26

Greg Speliotis, proppelled the green past the Magic with 12pts. Connor Reardon played great in a supporting role for the “Celts with 7pts, along with Chris Vaille’s play inside with 6pts. Emilio Beato led the Magic with 10pts and Billy Muse scord 5pts. Jeff Tracchia of ther Magic played strong inside with a nice put back and a jumper for his 4pts. Other scorers for the ‘Celts inlcude Jared Louf-Woods 3pts, Robert Simard, Christian Almonte and Cody Farese who all scored 2pts.

Lakers 49 - Knicks 46

The Lakers’ Nick Walsh diced the pressure defense of the Knicks guard’s in the second half to the tune of 11pts and 5assts. Alvin Rodriguez was a sniper from outside with 11pts coming from all shots. Christian Dunston led the Knicks in scoring with 16pts followed by Brendan Broderick and Marvin Baez both scoring 10pts. the Knicks’ Big Brian, 6pts, played very well inside against Jeff Peras who scored 12pts for the Lakers and Troy Gilbert showed his driving ability with 8pts.

Providence 29 - UCLA 25

Matt Muse, of Providence lit it up from deep with 12pts on 4 three pointers to go with his 3stls. Shakir White was the leading scorer for UCLA with 13pts, 3rbs, 3stls and 2assts. Alex Smith scored 6pts for the Bruins and Charles Murel had 4pts. Billy Muse scored 10pts for the Friars while William Walsh drilled a long triple for his 3pts.

Michigan 43 - Georgetown 15

The Wolverines jumped all over the Hoyas in their impressive win. Kelly Abreu scored 19pts with 7rbs, 7stls and 5assts leading his team to the win. Nathaniel for the Wolverines had 12pts 6rbs and 3blks. Robert Simard was the top scorer for Georgetown with 7pts, followed by Gabriel Polanco, 4pts, Xavier Polanco, 2pts and Brian 2pts. Juan Encarnacion, 4pts, Stephen Harris, 6pts and Desmond Thomas 2pts all played tremendously for Michigan.

Oregon 50 - Indiana 38

The Ducks of Oregon continued their winning streak with a hard fought victory over the Hoosiers. John Crimble scored a season-high 24pts for oregon to pace their win. Antony Harris led Indiana with 15pts, while Aidan Scrimgeour complimented him nicely form the wing with 12pts. Oregon’s strength inside with Matt Marquez, 12pts and Stephen Moutsoulas, 6pts again proved to be too much for their opponents. Brandon Dziadyk provided 8pts off the bench for Indy.

Duke 34 - Syracuse 26

Although Duke led the game most of the way and seemingly had it wrapped up the Orangemen managed to climb back into the game and force an extra frame. Cael Schaejbe 11pts, Jared Louf-Woods 6pts and Ryan Madden 8pts carried their teams to the win over the ‘Cuse. Jefferson Akers scored 14pts with 20rbs and 2blks to help his team get to the OT, while Nathan Montero and Chris Matton each chipped in with 6pts. Brian Lora also played very well for Duke with 9pts.

Duke 28 - Villanova 19

The Blue Devils kept their perfect record intact with the whole team scoring, despite being vastly oversized by their opponents. Rachel Zipper and Kaitlin Copelas scored 6pts to lead the Devils while Meghan Zipper, Nicole Sadoway and Cassandra Haude all scoring 4pts. Olivia Comeau and Hannah Malarkey had 2pts and played at the point position. Jackie Pannenton 8 pts and Christa Leger 7pts led the way for the ‘Cats inside. Julie Shea scored 2pts for Villanova.

Umass 20 - Tennessee 12

The Vols kept the game close the whole time until Umass stretched the margin at the end. Ashley Espinal scored 12pts, most of which in the last 3 minutes, to beat the Volunteers. Brianna Rodriguez also scored for Umass. Alexandrea Bozarjian scored 4pts for the Vols, with Cynthia Garcia, Villory rijker and Hannah Cratfs all scoring 2pts.

Boston College 20 - Kentucky 14

Shyla Stokes led all scorers in the final game of the night with 8pts. Alexa Gilbert kept her team in the game with 6pts and 4stls. Mirlene Sanchez and Jessica Tassinieri scored 4pts each for the ‘Cats. Kelly MCLaughlin chipped in 4pts and good defense down the stretch to help her Eagles. Hannah Van de Staht, Kendall Higgins, Sarah Connelly and Robin Hendry all scoring 2pts for BC.

Knicks 39 - Jazz 37

The Knicks garnered their first win since before Christmas, largely in part due to Nick Salamida, 11pts and Marvin Baez 16pts. Steven Cruz cruised past the defense for the Knicks for 10pts, while Eduardo Beato manned the paint for 8pts. However the Knicks withstood the Jazz’s best punch and came out victorious. Christian Dunston and Brendan Broderick each scored 5pts for the Knickerbockers. Kyle Gauthier shot well for the Jazz; along with Jefferon Akers, Kyle Higgins and Danny Gauhthier whoall had 2pts.

Lakers 44 - Celtics 37

Troy Gilbert was Automatic for the whole second half for the Lakers scoring 15pts. Nick Walsh was second in scoring for the Lakersd with 10pts, Alvin Rodriguez and Jeff Peras each scored 7pts. The Celtics spread it around with 8 different men scoring, led by Ariel Almonte and Chris Vaille with 7pts closely followed Greg Speliotis with 6pts. Christian Almonte scored 5pts for the Celts.

Spurs 38 - Magic 34

Randy Valero carried his team over the hot Magic with 21pts. Kelly Abreu scored 6pts with 3stls and a couple assists for the Spurs. Emilio Beato continued his good play with 15pts, with Jonathon Morel and Jeff Tracchia scoring 6pts each. Steven White scored 3pts and Fernando Bryant 4pts to help the Spurs in their win.

Rockers 28 - Sun 16

Crystal Garcia and Ashley O’Keefe each scored 10pts to vault their team over the sun. April Hannable and Vanermi Figeuroa also scored the same amounts of points, 8pts, for their team. Hannah Wilkins provided 8pts for the Rockers including 2 three pointers.

Lynx 37 -Liberty 21

Marissa Garey scored 12pts for the Lynx leading them over the Liberty. Maria Rodriguez led her team in scoring with 8pt, Shannon tucker also scored 2pts. Sabrina Swift and Courtney Maurice helped with the scoring having 5pts and 8pts respectively.

Sparks 29 - Shock 16

The Sparks featured an attack of mostly Alix Bryant, 14pts, to cruise past the Shock. Courtney Shearstone scored 8pts for the Shock with Kayla Howland scoring 4pts and Kayleigh Krajeski scored 2pts. Brenna Burke and Bethany Thomas also scored 2pts for the Sparks.
