Jazz 34 - Celtics 33
The Jazz blitzed the Celtics in the first half due to guard Steven Figeuroa, 12pts, and center Eduardo Beato, 10pts. Ariel Almonte led the celts in scoring with 10pts, Greg Speliotis, 9pts and Connor Reardon, 7pts. Taylor Norris and Jefferson Akers played well defensively inside for the Jazz. Chris Vaille was the interior force for the green with 6pts. The second half saw the Celtics get back into the game via Almonte and Reardon. Speliotis nailed a three pointer with 10 seconds left to put his team just one point behind, but the Jazz were able to kill those last seconds to secure the win.
Spurs 62 - Knicks 32
The previously unbeaten Knicks were embarrassed by the Spurs. Randy Valero erupted for 29pts including 3 three pointers.Dionil Abreu and Danny Moya each scored 6pts for the winning team. Marvin Baez led the Knicks with 11pts, followed by Christian Dunston, 8pts. Brendan Broderick,7pts, and Nick Salamida 5pts also played well for the Knickerbockers.
Magic 40 - Lakers 37
The Magic held off the spurting Lakers to gain victory. Louis Gomez led all Magic with 14pts, including a clutch jump shot off the glass in the last minute. Troy Gilbert captained the comeback for the Lakers with a game high 21pts, followed by Nick Walsh who had 10pts, 3 of which came from an NBA range shot. Mike Daly also scored for the Lakeshow. Complimenting Gomez were Ben Kapnis, 9pts, Jesse Williams, 8pts and Jonathon Morel, 7pts along with Billy Muses 2pts.
