The Salem 7th Grade team jumped out to a huge first half lead over Saugus on the strength of their press and led at the half 27-9. The second half which saw Saugus creep back into the contest, was marred by turnovers and bad defense for Salem. However down the stretch the Witches stepped up their game and eeked out a victory, 45-42.
