#3 Georgetown 39 - #2 Boston College 34

The Georgetown Hoyas got by the Eagles thanks to the scoring of Nick Salamida, 28 pts and 4 rebs. Chadillac Coehlo was burning it up with 12 pts, 4 rebs, and 1 asst, and stl, until he fouled out early in the second half. Jonny Furey was also huge for the Hoyas scoring 6 pts, with 5 rebs and 3 assts. in Coehlo’s absence Shakey White, 12 pts, 4 rebs, 1 blk 1 asst and 1 stl, led his team with help from PAt Dunning 4 pts and 2 blks.

#1 UCLA 39 - #4 Kentucky 31

It took everything that the Bruins had but they finished with a win. FJ Murphy yanked 9 rebs and had an assist along with 4 pts patrolling the paint. Brendan Broderick scored 12 pts for the Wildcats and had 6 rebs, 4 stls and a block. Connor Reardon helped out with 11pts, 5 rebs and 2 blks, with Robert Simard scoring 6 pts. Marvin BAez stole the show scoring 30 pts, 7 rebs, 6 stls and 2 blks.

#2 Knicks 53 - #3 Lakers 46

The Knicks avenged the only loss of their season with a thrilling overtime victory against the Lakers. Andrew Barbuzzi played strong inside with 7 pts and as many rebs, with 1 stl and asst. Kyle Reardon was the man for the Lakers scoring 26 pts with 9 rebs. the paint was owned by the Lakers whose other two big men, Ben Dibble, 12 pts and Jeremy Daly, 4 pts 2 assts, combined for 10 rebs. Dario (15 pts) and Raphi (23, 4 rebs, 2 assts) Medrano were the leaders for the Knicks providing most of the scoring, until the last minute when Christian Dunston nailed four critical free throws to ice the game.

#5 Spurs 33 - #1 Celtics 29

Coming into the night undefeated the Celtics had a bulls eye on their chests. The Spurs knew they would have to play their best game. Billy Garey, 10 pts 8 rebs and 2 blks, manned the paint for the Spurs along with Jessie Williams 4 pts, 4 rebs. Ariel Almonte was lead scorer for the Celts with 9 pts, Brad Daigle scored 7 pts and Lenny Baez drilled two 3 pointers to amass his 8 pts. Hurricane Ben Kapnis snuck out into the frontcourt for 6 pts, and Brad Skeffington(7 pts, 4 rebs and 1 stl) made key buckets down the stretch to clinch the win.
