Spurs 39 - Raptors 35
The Spurs jumped out to a big lead in the first half thanks to Brad Skeffington and his 14 pts. The combination of David Kendrick 11pts, Greg Speliotis 15pts and Marvin Baez 5pts got the Raptors back into the game during the 3rd and 4th quarters. However Billy Garey 9pts proved to be too much for the winless Raptors scoring all his points in the last frame.
Celtics 33 - Suns 21
In a one sided contest the veteran Celtics defeated the Suns, thanks to the extraordinary outside shooting of Ariel Almonte 13pts, Lenny Baez 7pts, and Kam Lynch’s long three pointer. Josh Perez nailed two treys for the Suns but neede more help to deal with the unefeated Celts.
Jazz 34 - Warriors 24
The Jazz spaced out the scoring among 6 of their 7 players to beat up on the Warriors. Playing amongst the mist the Wilkins’ brothers combined for 11pts, along with Figgy’s team leading 10pts and another 7pts chipped in by Jake Salamida. The Warriors tried to get it close in the fourth but Juan Juan’s 8pts and Danny McCarthy’s 9pts just wasn’t enough to stop the music.
Lakers 30 - Knicks 28
On this night the best was saved for last, the undefeated Knicks fell to a giant Lakers Squad led by Kyle Reardon 14pts, 3blocks. Dario and Raphi Madrano combined for 17pts to go along with Andrew Barbuzzi’s 7pts but needed three more tobeat the Lakers. Jeremy Daly added 8 pts to Kyle’s impressive performnace, and Ben Dibble 6pts made a strong lay-up in the final minute as he got fouled, Dibble hit the free throw and sealed the game for The Purple and Gold.
