The Sun pulled the upset over the first place Shock with the help of Leslie Baez (11pts), and Amanda Wilkins(7pts). The Shock got a strong from Jasmine Bryant with 10pts.

In a game that went down to the wire Memphis edges UNC by 2. Greg Speliotis scored a championship game record 49pts for Memphis.  Troy Gilbert had 14pts, and Kelly Aberu pumped in 19pts for UNC.

Antonio Reyes lead the Mavs with 38pts he got help from Juan Fernandez’s 13pts.  The Grizz held tough with help from the twins Dario and Raphi Medrano (39pts).
